A working laptop has been spotted carrying Intel's Meteor Lake 14th-gen processors. Although still a prototype, the working model was reportedly spotted at Computex, showing fans how Intel's latest processors perform.

Intel is Launching What was Described as a Radical LEGO-Like Next-Gen CPU Architecture

According to the story by PC World, this comes just a few months away from the official reveal of the Intel Meteor Lake. The report described it as a radical LEGO-like next-gen CPU architecture which would then represent the 14th-gen core of the company.

During the Computex 2023, one of the largest events in the world that focuses mainly on desktop technology, the company might have shown an unofficial sneak peek of what the upcoming processor would be like.

Curious fans can spot a video of the working laptop with Meteor Lake equipped on a video uploaded still by PC World to YouTube. The video shows the prototype spotted at the Computex 2023 conference.

The reveal happened via Gordon Ung getting the scoop on the new technology from Usman Pirzada of WCCFTech. Fans can check out the conversation and the revelation of more details on the video uploaded to YouTube.

The Intel Meteor Lake Chip was Running but the Display was Far from Its Final Performance

The report revealed that the laptop was using the Meteor Lake chip while it was running, and so far, it was only set up for closed-door demonstration. It was distinctly noted that the laptop was not yet ready for it to be actually tested.

During the meeting, it was also revealed that the laptop had not yet been labeled, making it still unofficial to the public. However, Pirzada reportedly showed a little sneak peek to the device's Task Manager.

Fans Got a Sneak Peek of the Task Manager to See What the Performance Could be Like

Upon showing the Task Manager, presenters then confirmed that what could be seen as the next generation of CPU, the Intel Meteor Lake. It was also earlier reported that Intel could be dropping the "i" from its Core brand, which can be seen on the i3, i5, and i7.

WCCF Tech also revealed how they could peak into a working prototype of the Meteor Lake during the Computex 2023 event. So far, they reportedly showed off the VPU part of the SoC.

Other Suggestions Regarding Its Configuration

It was reportedly also worth noting that the platform shown was "spun up just 2 weeks ago," so fans can check the demo. It was also revealed that the clocks fans would see on the prototype were still far from what users might get when they finally check out the final product.

Regarding the physical specification, the report noted that the configuration stayed close and similar. Should earlier leaks be revealed, WCCF Tech notes that this could likely be the 6+8+2 configuration of the P(Main)+E(Main)+E(SoC) cores that users have already previously seen.
