Last week gave the world a trove of discoveries and updates to certain cases, but this Tech Times Weekly Wrap presents stories for you to catch up with, starting with NASA Ingenuity Space Helicopter's return. After a two-month silence, the remote-controlled drone has sent back a message to the team, alongside Google's changes on Android Auto's restrictions.

Not to mention the massively-viral video of a Ukrainian soldier that leaked, showing how they used a shoulder-fire missile to bring down a Russian Su-25 plane out of the sky.

Last April 26 was when the last mission of the Ingenuity Space Helicopter took place, and after that, the spacecraft went dark after losing communications with the team. However, fast forward to more than two months later, the Ingenuity made contact again, and it was a successful one at that.

The team from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) over in South California established contact via the Perseverance rover back on June 28 after clearing a hill to get to Ingenuity's last known location. As the Perseverance went to the other side of it, the rover worked as a relay that allowed the team to contact Ingenuity again.

Flight 52 was the last mission which Ingenuity flew, covering as much as 1,191 feet (363 meters), and was set in rugged terrains which made it difficult for the team to establish a stable communication connection from the helicopter.

Google Reportedly Removed Android Auto's Restrictions

Connecting to Android Auto before was frustrating as the feature would mirror the display on the car's infotainment system but no longer allow the smartphone's screen to be accessible when using Google Maps. This made smartphone access when connected to Android Auto difficult, but Google recently lifted the restriction to ease users' frustrations.

According to CNET, Google dropped this restriction and allowed users to access Google Maps on their smartphones whenever they feel like it, and not leave it entirely for the infotainment system to display.

This would help those who want to get more in-depth with their navigation by accessing the smartphone and plotting the way right on their hands.

viral video that came from the Ukrainian 10th Mountain Assault Brigade was a massive topic last week, showing how a Ukrainian soldier fired a missile from a shoulder-mounted weapon and fired against a Russian Su-25 plane.

The video highly signifies that tension between Ukraine and Russia is still high, with both countries still at war with each other and showing aggression toward their enemy.

It also showed how the rocket hit the flying Su-25 plane and exploded in the far distance from where it was shot.

The Russian plane, also codenamed by NATO as Frogfoot, is best known for its close air support, ground assaults, and air interdiction operations.
