There's no shortage of gaming accessories around, and even products that aren't really for gaming but come with gaming-themed designs. This is true with a new "Minecraft" themed mini fridge that is an upgrade of the original Xbox mini fridge.

'Minecraft' Mini Fridge Takes the Aesthetic of the Game's Creeper

According to the story by Pure Box, the new "Minecraft" mini fridge takes the aesthetic of one of the most loved (or hated) additions in the game, the creeper. For those in survival mode, these things could cost you a heart or two should the player not be looking.

Now, instead of haunting the player's gameplay, it's available as a mini fridge at home. However, it's important to note that this is a "mini" fridge and not a full-sized fridge capable of holding multiple foods or drinks.

The Xbox mini fridge was initially released in 2021, and after that, it hasn't gotten many updates since. The mini fridge was fashioned in the appearance of the Xbox Series X, being a tall black box that closely resembled the console.

The Xbox Mini Fridge Originally Went with a Design Making It Similar to the Xbox Series X

Even the unique top of the console, buttons, and line for the CD were also copied with the Xbox mini fridge. It also had inner green lights, which made its aesthetics much more similar to an actual Xbox Series X console.

Upon launch, it was noted that the Xbox mini fridge would be sold at Target for $99.99. The announcement highlighted how it was exclusive on Target for US fans, but in Canada, the mini fridge was purchasable from the Xbox Gear Shop.

For the new Xbox Minecraft mini fridge creeper version, the product can be purchased at Walmart. It comes with two doors and is reportedly capable of holding 12 cans of 12oz or around 8 liters.

The Xbox Minecraft Mini Fridge is Selling for Just $98 and was Listed at a 'Discount'

The mini fridge features a full creeper, with both its head, body, and legs all in green and selling for $98. However, per its listing, the product was discounted from its original $168 price tag as it was labelled on "rollback."

It was also highlighted that the device could cool up to 32℉ below ambient temperature and comes at just 25.2 inches tall, 9.5 inches wide, and 9.1 inches long. The device also comes with two removable shelves and two compartments.

The Xbox Deal is Exclusive on Walmart for US Buyers

Pure Xbox notes that this deal is exclusive to just Walmart for US buyers. It was also noted that this release comes amid the Trails and Tales update which just arrived recently, almost the same time as the Minecraft Legends update, where players need to stop the rampage to get new skins in the game.

Players can check out the mini fridge at Walmart as a simple way to upgrade their gaming setup. With the ability to store 12 12oz cans in the room, players might no longer need to go out for a session.
