The world is preparing for the arrival of Grand Theft Auto VI as it was claimed to be coming, but there is a massive question for fans of the franchise, particularly for gamers of GTA V's GTA Online, specifically, to their profiles.

GTA Online accounts have long seen gamers crunching hours and numbers to their profiles, but this begs the question of "Will it carry over to GTA 6?"

Renowned online source, Rockstar Universe, has reiterated via X that GTA Online profiles, accounts, and progress that were done in the present experience from Rockstar Games has bad news. This is because GTA VI's online gaming version will offer a "fresh start for everyone," and this means that it would not carry over their progress and hard work in the many years it was available.

It was also revealed by the leaker that FiveM will be incorporated into GTA 6 Online following the massive acquisition of Rockstar. FiveM is best known as the GTA V multiplayer mod that allows gamers to play on dedicated custom servers.

From rank to purchased clothes, properties, cars, and more, GTA V's Online experience is staying where it is, with the legacy game left behind the last-gen experience.

The good thing with this announcement is that Grand Theft Auto VI will get its dedicated GTA Online experience, but according to ComicBook Gaming, this latest information remains a wild claim. Rockstar's recent announcement of a teaser coming next month points to its massive preparation and development of the game, and in a few weeks, the world is set to see the first outing of the sequel game.

The Wait for Grand Theft Auto VI

Fans and enthusiasts of the Grand Theft Auto franchise are tired of waiting for the arrival of GTA VI, especially as it is already more than a decade since the last mainline release of the game series. With this, players relied on the many trusted sources and leakers behind the franchise, with one report for GTA 6 claiming that while Vice City is the main setting, there would also be an in-game version of Cuba

Many are claiming that the official reveal from Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive is near, with a famous leaker claiming that it will happen this November. While this did not age well, Rockstar has already officially claimed that a December teaser trailer drop for the next GTA game is coming, still not calling it the Grand Theft Auto VI.

Sadly, while GTA Online players have put massive effort, time, and real-world money into growing their criminal empire in the game or simply pimping their cribs and rides here, it will not carry over to the next online sandbox RPG experience. It is expected that Grand Theft Auto VI will feature a revamp of GTA Online, but there are still no additional details on what it will feature and change for this new one.
