Another exciting speculation related to Grand Theft Auto 6 or GTA 6 reveals the return of a side mission that gamers have not seen since GTA San Andreas. According to Comicbook Gaming, one of the side missions in GTA San Andreas was trucking, and gamers have not seen this side mission content since then.

However, GTA 6 is reportedly resolving this. A previously leaked map of the highly anticipated sequel posted on Reddit reportedly showed a truck icon, possibly implying the return of this type of side mission.

While a truck icon is not definite proof of side missions, it is a familiar icon used to represent a side mission that players of GTA San Andreas will recognize. Comicbook Gaming reported that the truck icon on the said map could represent various activities, but the most obvious is trucking.

Given that the game will be set in Vice City, the series' fictional take on Miami, it is logical to assume that players will be tasked to transport illicit cargo. However, this is only speculation as it could still represent a different activity like the American Truck Simulator but just in GTA.

Redditors are losing their minds over a 4Chan post leaking some funny content about "GTA 6."

Grand Theft Auto 'Trucking' Missions

The fan-favorite trucking side missions were last seen on GTA San Andreas, initially released 20 years ago, when GTA still embraced random, zany content. GTA players and fans will remember the trucking missions as hard side missions, IGN reported.

Trucking missions are fast-paced and exciting missions wherein players are tasked to transport illegal cargo that would often entail a time limit to finish the transport, deliver without any damage, and ensure that no money will drop during the mission.

Previous GTA 6 Speculations

Speculations started for Grand Theft Auto 6 in early 2018 when, according to a leak, GTA 6 would feature Florida, also famously known for GTA players as Vice City, and a female protagonist would also arrive, and it was recently confirmed in some reports.

There was also a controversial hacker who was able to steal footage and other exclusive information about GTA 6, with different revelations including the two playable lead characters, its development, and more.

Despite Rockstar Games not confirming anything, the company said it was disappointed about the leak incident. The company is now making extra efforts to avoid these incidents.

Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive remained silent about what Grand Theft Auto 6 has to offer, and it remained unknown if the next game will be even named "GTA 6," following its predecessor.

Hopes for an official announcement remained alive when GTA 6 recently appeared on Metacritic's website, with its review page still up.

However, the Metacritic page for GTA 6 has no other information yet, except the platforms where it would first be available, with the website listing the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series S and X.

It does not have any release dates posted to it yet. Its Critic Reviews and User Reviews also remain empty as of this writing.
