A newly discovered landing page for Grand Theft Auto VI recently went viral, and it has yet again reignited the fandom of the sequel game, with many believing that this hints at the nearing release date of the game.

Despite being in late 2023 now, many people still expect that Rockstar Games will bring an official announcement about the franchise's next game.

GTA VI has received many leaks regarding its different content, offers, and more in the past months, becoming more controversial, especially regarding when Rockstar would release it.

GTA VI's New Metacritic Page Appears Online

Grand Theft Auto VI appeared on Metacritic's website, and this is not a drill, as the actual landing page of the much-awaited sequel game is still up on the platform.

Metacritic is best known for being a trusted online review source for various games, helping interested gamers to weigh their choices on which game to purchase and which would be worth their time.

However, the Metacritic page for GTA VI has no other information yet, except the platforms where it would first be available, with the website listing the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series S and X.

It does not have any release dates posted to it yet. Its Critic Reviews and User Reviews also remain empty as of this writing.

Does This Mean That GTA VI Is Coming?

ComicBook Gaming said this new discovery may or may not hint at an upcoming or nearing release date for Grand Theft Auto VI. It was reported that Metacritic's listing may hint that a game trailer or an announcement may be coming soon, but the developers have not confirmed yet.

Grand Theft Auto VI

Many people have invested in looking for clues and information about Rockstar's upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI game, with speculators claiming a lot from what is coming soon.

According to an early 2018 leak, GTA VI would feature Florida, a.k.a. Vice City, but that is not all, as there are also claims that a female protagonist would also arrive, and it was recently confirmed in some reports.

There was also a controversial hacker who was able to steal footage and other exclusive information about GTA 6, with different revelations including the two playable lead characters, its development, and more.

Despite Rockstar Games not confirming anything, the company said it was disappointed about the leak incident. The company is now making extra efforts to avoid these incidents.

Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive remained silent about what Grand Theft Auto 6 has to offer, and it remained unknown if the next game will be even named "GTA VI," following its predecessor.

The sequel game was listed earlier on Metacritic, and this could mean a nearing release of a trailer or an announcement of its actual release date.
