To help celebrate the launch of the Xbox One in Hong Kong, one fast food chain in the region is undergoing quite the transformation.

For a limited time, the Triple O's located in Wanchai, Hong Kong are being converted into, well, one giant Xbox One advertisement. Green walls. Green tables. Advertisements for Xbox One games all around the store.

Even the food is getting in on the Xbox One action. Yes, you can buy an Xbox One burger, which as you might expect comes in an Xbox One wrapper, with an Xbox One drink cup, with an Xbox One side of fries.

What's strange is that the burger isn't even anything special. It's just a regular Triple O burger, featuring a beef patty, lettuce, tomato and the restaurant's signature "Triple O" sauce.

Microsoft is even bundling burger vouchers for the restaurant with certain Xbox One's.

Call me crazy, but I feel like this much advertising might have the opposite effect. When your entire restaurant is a giant, slime green ad, people are going to be annoyed. Even worse, they are just going to tune everything out. Good advertising is subtle. This is the exact opposite. Then again, it isn't exactly like this is something new for Hong Kong. It seems like every few weeks there is a "crazy" new promotional burger on sale.

Microsoft looks like it is willing to do anything (including embarrass itself) to help Xbox One become a success in China. After the console's abysmal sales in Japan, I can't say I blame them.
