Starting July 29, Lenovo will begin shipping a wide selection of its products that are enhanced with the new Windows 10 technology. The company has also published a comprehensive list of eligible Lenovo devices running authentic Windows 7 or 8.1 that can get the free Windows 10 upgrade.

In order to achieve this, Lenovo said that it has worked closely with Microsoft to help customers enjoy the simple process of upgrading. Likewise, the company promised that its Windows 10 devices will be free from the adware software that created huge issues back in February.

"We are starting immediately, and by the time we launch our Windows 10 product, our standard image will only include the operating system and related software, software required to make hardware work well, security software and Lenovo applications," said Lenovo. "This should eliminate what our industry calls adware and bloatware."

Lenovo is also releasing two new versions of Lenovo Companion and Lenovo Settings, the company's flagship applications. With more than 10 million worldwide users, both apps are expected to become standard components on Lenovo devices preloaded with Windows 10.

An optimization tool, the Lenovo Companion 3.0, helps keep the devices running at peak performance. Users are allowed to optimize their devices anytime by running a checkup in full-scale then obtaining a report that details certain actions in order to increase more space and gain higher speed.

The Lenovo Settings works like a "smart" device control hub that allows users to adapt, predict and modify the settings on their devices to automatically match their behavior. It also boasts a customizable "Power" section wherein users can achieve a "super" charging power for their device's battery by using the "Battery Stretch Mode" and the "Charge Mode."

"In today's digital world users want a customized, personal experience," said Mark Cohen, VP of Ecosystems and Cloud Services. "The new Lenovo Companion 3.0 and Settings 3.0 tools give them the power to get the most out of their purchase including access to information about their PC, customizing it to their personal preferences and keeping it in tip top shape throughout the life of their device."

Other features of the upcoming Lenovo products include SHAREit, which allows a faster way of transferring files between devices; WRITEit, which is for tablet users who want to write in any input field since their handwriting can then be converted into text; and REACHit, which is integrated with Cortana, allowing users to search for content such as images, videos and email in ways they would never think were possible.
