SAN FRANCISCO, CA - JUNE 06: Attendees walk by a sign for the new iCloud during the 2011 Apple World Wide Developers Conference at the Moscone Center on June 6, 2011 in San Francisco, California.

The issue is reportedly only on iCloud on Windows, according to News18. Many users shared their concerns about imported videos from iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro models showing up with scan lines and blackened videos, which suggest that the content might have been corrupted. Moreover, users also see media content that has randomly been added to their iCloud library.

MacRumors gathered some of the complaints posted on forums. One affected user complained that the videos taken with the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro models are not being synced with iCloud for Windows. According to the user, when certain videos are recorded and synced with iCloud for Windows, they turn black with scan lines.

Other users say they see media files that aren't recognized in their libraries. Some speculations point out that these media files could be from other people's iCloud libraries.

Server Issues?

It seems that this could be a server issue on Apple's end because, based on the reports, only certain files from the iCloud to the Windows platform for rendering. However, there is no response yet from Apple about this, but many users remain hopeful that the issue will be addressed soon.

Apple has been under scrutiny regarding the quality of its products, especially after last year's glitch in iOS, which caused some users' iPhones to shut down without warning. There have also been issues reported about the iPhone XS and XS Max.
