It's Friday, which means it's high time to start planning your streaming schedule for the weekend. Though you may still be making your way through re-watching Friends on Netflix, you might want to consider taking a break and watching some less mainstream but just as entertaining programming over on Fandor.

If you haven't heard of Fandor and are a lover of movies that are off the beaten path, you should probably change that. Fandor is a streaming service that features thousands of films of all different genres from all different parts of the world. Its collection of Criterion films is particularly impressive.

Like most streaming services out there today, Fandor adds new titles every month. Fandor has some new additions in store for June that will give viewers greater insight into the human experience of people from all different walks of life.

The most noteworthy addition to Fandor this month is Middletown, a documentary series about middle-class life in Muncie, Ind. that aired on PBS in 1982. The final part "Seventeen," which was never shown on PBS because Xerox threatened to pull its sponsorship of the series because of the explicit nature of this installment. However, you can now watch all six parts of Middletown starting Friday on Fandor, which also explores politics, sports, faith, family and marriage in middle America.

Mondovino is another documentary coming to Fandor this month. As the title of this 2004 film suggests, Mondovino examines the world of the wine-making industry. Mondovino premieres on Fandor June 26.

Fandor isn't just about documentaries. The 2010 drama The Builder, which chronicles an Irish immigrant's existential journey from Queens to the Catskills, will also be available to stream starting June 12.

Head over to Fandor to check out all of the titles available for streaming.
