Although there were high hopes for Batman: Arkham Knight when the game was finally relaunched on Steam for PC, alas, the problems which plagued the game from the start still persisted. Warner Bros. is now offering unconditional refunds to all PC users who purchased the game from now until the end of 2015.

Although Warner Bros. pledges that they will continue to work through the game's many issues that have rendered it unplayable for majority of users who downloaded it, they do not expect it to be fixed any time soon. Therefore, they are encouraging everybody to claim their refund.

Batman: Arkham Knight for PC was officially released in June alongside the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game, which did not suffer the same massive issues that computer users have experienced. However it was soon after pulled off Steam after it became clear that the game's issues were snowballing out of control.

The game was relaunched on Oct. 28 along with some free games in the download package. Although it was reportedly considerably better it was still plagued by many of the same issues.

"We worked hard to get the game to live up to the standard you deserve but understand that many of you are still experiencing issues," the developer wrote on Steam's page.

The unconditional refunds are currently being offered to all who have purchased the game for PC regardless of how long they have been playing it. Those who purchased the DLC pass will also be issued refunds provided that they return the pass along with the game.

Unfortunately, the Valve update that includes the refund process for Batman: Arkham Knight is also experiencing issues. But Warner Bros. issued another statement to assure customers that they will be able to claim their refunds in due time.

"For users still running into playtime based refund rejections, we are looking into what is causing those. Please wait to re-submit your refund until we have this resolved. Thank you," they announced.

The Batman: Arkham Knight for PC curse seems like it's not going away soon so we highly encourage everyone who purchased the game to claim their refunds as soon as possible.
