The Google Nexus 9 tablet is again available at a neat discount, shedding 40 percent off its normal price tag under a new HTC Holiday Hot Deals promo.

HTC offered a number of notable discounts recently on various hardware so far and the Nexus 9 has already starred in such "Hot Deals" a couple of times before.

After recently discounting the periscope-shaped RE Camera to just $50, HTC is now at it again with a hefty discount on its Nexus 9. The Google tablet launched back in 2014, but it's still the most recent slate in the Nexus lineup as Google hasn't launched any Nexus tablet this year.

There's no word yet on a new Nexus tablet, and the 2014 HTC Nexus 9 still draws plenty of interest. Sporting a pure, stock Android experience, a sleek design and powerful internals, the Nexus 9 is now available at an attractive price point starting at $239.40.

More specifically, the 16 GB Wi-Fi-only version of the tablet is now $239.40, down from its regular $399 price tag. The higher-capacity model with 32 GB of internal storage capacity and Wi-Fi-only connectivity is now $287.40, down from its regular price of $479. The 32 GB Wi-Fi + LTE version, meanwhile, now costs $359.40, down from $599. The Sand version of the tablet is still elusive and doesn't appear anywhere, as only the Black LTE model seems to be available.

This attractive new deal is open only to U.S. customers and it's a limited-time offer set to expire on Nov. 4, 2015, but available stock typically runs out before the deadline. Hot deals with heavy discount always attract many customers and stock vanishes in no time, so interested buyers might want to make their purchase while they still can.

The offer kicks off this Tuesday, Nov. 3, and is available while supplies last, with a limit of maximum three units per customer. The discount applies only to purchases shipped within the 50 United States and the District of Columbia.

To take advantage of this new hot deal, head over to HTC's website and buy the HTC Nexus 9 for 40 percent off.
