On Nov. 4, we saw tennis star Serena Williams engage in the ultimate demonstration of girl power.

In her Facebook page, she recounted the story of a man grabbing her cellphone while she was dining at a restaurant. Victim story? Not this time, social media. The heroine that she was, Williams jumped up from her chair, sprinted to chase the man and consequently retrieved her phone from him.

"He began to run but I was too fast. (Those sprints came in handy) I was upon him in a flash!" the 34-year-old pro tennis player wrote in a post.

As if we needed any proof of Super Serena's cellphone recovery, an exclusive video of the said event was recently released in a report.

The video begins with Williams darting out of the restaurant, giving a whole new meaning to the phrase "dash dining," sprinting along the sidewalk and covering the gap between her and the man in no time. Super Serena then speaks with the man who claimed to "accidentally" grab her phone, after which he hands it back to her.

At that time, William's phone was also ringing, a FaceTime call courtesy of Super Serena's "superhero sidekick quailman," which further pressured the man to return her phone.

Upon her arrival back at the restaurant, she received a standing ovation from the customers and staff. Williams celebrated the retrieval of her phone and called it "a win for the ladies."

Moral of the story? You don't get in trouble with Super Serena and get away with it. You just don't.

For all the ladies out there who often fall victim to phone-snatching, "accident"-rationalizing thieves, here's your dose of daily wisdom, from the heroine herself:

"Just because you are a lady don't be afraid to step up to any challenge and not be a victim but a hero!"
