Samsung kicked off a neat "Gifts of the Season" promo to get an early start on Black Friday deals, offering exciting freebies bundled with its latest Galaxy smartphones.
The Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 now come bundled with $350 worth of freebies when purchased at full retail price. More specifically, customers who buy one of these smartphones off-contract can pick one of two gift packages containing free accessories.
The first package offers a Swarovski Holiday Bundle comprising of a fast charge portable battery pack, a crystal phone cover and a wireless charging pad. Those who are not into bling, meanwhile, can choose the second package with a Level On Holiday Bundle. This bundle includes a wireless charging pad, a fast charger portable battery pack and Level On headphones from Samsung. Both bundles have the same retail value of roughly $350.
This offer is a limited-time promotion running from Nov. 5 to 19, notes Samsung's dedicated website.
It's worth pointing out, however, that this promo also requires customers to activate Samsung Pay with a compatible card on their Galaxy flagship of choice. Samsung Pay activation also comes with a $50 cash rebate. These two perks work together and apply to new Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+ or Galaxy Note 5 buyers who haven't activated Samsung Pay yet.
"Not all carriers and credit or debit cards are compatible with Samsung Pay. Your carrier and card must be compatible with Samsung Pay in order for you to register it with Samsung Pay and qualify for this Offer," Samsung further points out in the fine print on this Gifts of the Season promo page.
With increasingly fierce competition on the smartphone market, device makers are constantly coming up with attractive new promotions to lure more customers to their handsets. Free accessories such as batteries or chargers, free subscriptions to premium services or exciting trade-in offers are quite common nowadays, and Samsung is not pulling any stops.
Lastly, Samsung also wants to make its flagships more appealing to iPhone fans, offering $100 in Google Play credit to customers who trade in an iPhone for a new Samsung phone.
