The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL is a highly-anticipated smartphone with impressive specifications that include a 5.7-inch AMOLED display with a 1,440 x 2,560 pixel resolution and 515 pixels per inch, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, 3 GB of RAM and expandable storage on top of its 32 GB onboard memory.

The upcoming Windows 10 smartphone also features a 20 MP primary camera, which was put to the test in a video uploaded to YouTube.

The video, which was uploaded at the YouTube channel [videotistik], is claimed to be taken by the Lumia 950 XL. The video was taken in low light conditions, and from how the video looks like, it seems that the Lumia 950 XL's camera has impressive capabilities.

The video shows that the Lumia 950 XL is able to maintain a great white balance and contrast despite the low light condition. The Lumia 950 XL's camera was also able to keep the frame rate at a good level, which resulted in a smooth video even as the holder of the smartphone panned the camera. Noise is also kept at a very acceptable level.

This should be excellent news for users that are looking forward to acquiring the smartphone, with the release of the device to the market approaching closer.

Recent reports revealed that the Lumia 950 XL, along with its smaller counterpart the Lumia 950, received price cuts in Europe. In France, the Lumia 950 received a six percent price cut for a preorder price that is down to €599 (about $660), while the Lumia 950 XL received a seven percent price cut for a preorder price that is down to €699 (about $700).

The price cuts can be seen in two ways. While they could mean that Microsoft simply wants more customers to be able to get their hands on the smartphones, which have been met with mostly positive reviews, the price cuts could also signal a countermeasure against weak initial demand for the devices.
