With hours to go for the launch of Blizzard's much-awaited final expansion for the real time sci-fi military game StarCraft II gamers are eagerly awaiting to lay their hands on Legacy of The Void.

On Tuesday, Nov. 10, Blizzard will release the Legacy of The Void expansion for StarCraft II but as a standalone game and not an expansion pack. In a departure from the earlier title release, the good thing is that Legacy of The Void will not require that gamers have the basic StarCraft 2 to play the expansion.

Legacy of the Void will basically be concluding the StarCraft series' narrative. The game brings with it several new characters and new machines. The details of which are as follows:

Cast of Characters

Artanis

Zeratul

Rohana

Karax

Vorazun

Kerrigan

Raynor

New Warriors and Machines

Adept

Disruptor

Cyclone

Liberator

Ravager

Lurker
