Remember the Star Wars Battlefront Darth Vader-themed PlayStation 4 console? Now players who want a little bit of 'Star Wars' on their hardware don't need to buy an entire system; they can spend less and have an excuse to play Battlefront on co-op mode with the upcoming Darth Vader edition controller.

The gadget will go up for preorder soon and launch later this month.

Sony revealed that the controller will be sold separately from the console to give way to those who are unable to afford the whole bundle or unwilling to own a second PlayStation 4.

The console itself has a sleek black look with the "Star Wars" logo and Darth Vader's helmet on the side. It's a cool-looking console for what it is, but what about the controller? Well, the controller is black with red, blue, and white buttons.

Those who are interested in giving the controller a spin should know that it will be available exclusively from Walmart in the United States. The U.S. retailer is now taking preorders and will start shipping the gadget on Nov. 13. Europeans can anticipate the special edition controller on Nov. 18, PlayStation Europe announced. As for pricing, the Darth Vader edition DualShock 4 controller will cost gamers $65 - a little bit more expensive when compared to regular controllers.

Apart from the $450 Star Wars Battlefront bundle, gamers and "Star Wars" fans can get the new controller via the Disney Infinity 3.0 package for the same price of $450. This bundle is also exclusive to Walmart for a limited time only.

There's also another Star Wars Battlefront bundle for $400, but it comes with a standard controller.

Star Wars Battlefront is the latest game in the small franchise, and it could be the one to push it even further. The game is mainly focused on the multiplayer mode with no single player campaign in sight. Players can wage war on land and in the sky, similar to how things are done in the "Battlefield" games. Furthermore, players have the option of tapping into the dark side with Darth Vader, or the light side with Luke Skywalker.

The game will be available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC come November 17.
