The Star Wars hype and marketing machine is not over yet!

Despite director J.J. Abrams declaring that we would not be getting any more trailers for "The Force Awakens," we were treated to not only an international trailer made specifically for the Japanese market with new footage, but also a TV spot.

Now, ABC will be hosting a special first look at the new movie to be presented by cast members of the network's hit shows.

Tune in on Nov. 12 when the cast of "Scandal," "Grey's Anatomy," and "How To Get Away With Murder" hold a very special first look at "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," which will premiere in theatres on Dec. 18.

Fans are hoping to get more information about who exactly Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Finn (John Boyega) are, and maybe get up close and personal with the new adorable rolling astromech droid, BB-8.

Perhaps the event will also show more of the original cast members, such as Harrison Ford as a well-aged Han Solo, and Carrie Fisher who was reportedly told to drop 35 pounds to reprise her role as Princess Leia Organa.

Maybe, just maybe, the special will also give us our first look at Luke Skywalker in the new film? Even if J.J. Abrams has gone on the record to say that leaving out Mark Hamill from the marketing of "The Force Awakens" was a conscious decision, we're not holding our breaths.

Shonda Rhimes took to Twitter to excitedly announce the #TGIT The Force Awakens Special, which she will host along with the other ABC TGIT stars.

So don't forget to check in on ABC at 8/7c to be among the first to see even more new footage before "The Force" finally awakens for real in December.
