With Apple's music streaming service Apple Music firmly in place, the company's old Beats Music service is finally saying goodbye.

A Beats Music support page reveals that the service is going to shut down on Nov. 30, giving users just over two weeks to use it before the plug is pulled.

According to the support page on Beats Music, users will have their subscriptions to the service cancelled by the aforementioned date. However, for users looking to keep their playlists and preferences, they can do so by migrating to Apple Music and signing up with the service.

"All the pros that curated music for you are still crafting more amazing experiences. Plus, on Apple Music, you'll get even better recommendations based on music you already listen to and love, 24/7 global radio with Beats 1, exciting material from your favorite artist, and more," the support page added.

The shutdown of Beats Music come a little over a year after Beats was acquired by Apple, and five months since the launch of Apple Music.

In connection with the planned end of Beats Music, Sonos has sent out emails to its customers to inform them of the date. While Apple Music is not yet supported on Sonos devices, the company is likewise recommending users to move their preferences and playlists over to Apple Music.

Sonos, however, does not have a timeline yet for when its devices will be able to support Apple Music. The company said that it will be updating its customers once the information is made available.

To migrate from Beats Music to Apple Music on iOS, users should first ensure that they are signed in to iTunes with their Apple ID. Upon opening and signing in to the Beats Music app, users would see a prompt stating the planned closure of Beats Music. By tapping on Get Started, users can then select the individual membership choice and enter their Apple ID password. If the iOS device has iCloud Music Library enabled, then the user's music could be migrated to Apple Music under the feature's options.

The process to migrate from Beats Music to Apple Music on Android is similar, minus the iCloud portion and utilizing the beta app of Apple Music that can be downloaded on the Google Play Store.

In both instances, users can choose to switch to family membership after signing up with Apple Music.
