Before there was the Jason Derulo song, there was the Australian children's music group, The Wiggles.

The group has been around since 1991, its original members including Murray Cook, Sam Moran, Jeff Fatt, Phillip Wilcher and Greg Page. After the release of their first album, Wilcher left the group. Page followed in 2006 on account of health issues to be replaced by Moran, his understudy. Page then returned in 2012 and replaced Moran. That same year, Fatt, Page and Cook retired and were replaced by Lachlan Gillespie, Simon Pryce and Emma Watkins.

Fans who mourned the retirement of the original members recently found a ray of hope in a tweet posted by blue Wiggle Anthony Field.

Fans then responded to Field's question, as the 52-year-old actor-musician received a barrage of positive replies from Trevor Long, Jessica Emily, Kate Leaver and more.

Turns out Field was so floored by everyone's response that two days later he made an annoucement that would forever change the lives of The Wiggles fans everywhere.

This tweet, as expected, was met with even more excitement.

Here are more tweets about the upcoming reunion:

So here's a rundown of the things we know. The original Wiggles are reuniting for a pub show. The show is meant for people 18 years old and above. It will be held on January 2016.

Here's a rundown of the things we want to know. Where is the venue? Will it go on to be a tour? Why won't January 2016 come soon enough?

Either way, better practice your rusty Shimmie Shakes. The original Wiggles are back.
