Vine has announced a new Audio Remix feature that will enable users to pull a specific audio from an existing Vine and then remix it for creating their own Vine.

The new feature will be easy to use as audio can be remixed from and remade directly within the Vine app.

"You now have the power to reinterpret, collaborate or remix with audio from any Vine on the network, as well as discover these creations that reveal the bigger picture behind the incredible trends that evolve on Vine," said Vine.

Vine is hoping that the new feature with increase user engagement with the app and more memes will be created. With a simple tap of a button, Vine users can create their own video and remix it by selecting "Make an audio remix."

The video sharing service is cautious with copyrights and in a bid to avoid any complaints, the service will include the links to the original videos in the remixes. Users can also tap on the music note that will appear under the video and tap on the arrow to find the source of the remix.

In August this year, the Twitter-owned Vine announced that it is planning to add remix support to Vine and it has taken about three months before the Audio Remix feature has been added to the app. While Vine is available on many platforms such as iOS, Android, Windows Phone and more, the latest Audio Remix feature will initially be available only to iOS users.

Vine was founded in June 2012 and it allows users to share six-second videos. The video clips created by users are published via the Vine network and videos can also be shared on other social media networks such as Twitter and Facebook. Users can also browse and view videos that have been posted by other users based on categories such as by theme, most popular and trending.

The service is being used by millions of users every month and the popularity of Vine is also increasing rapidly. In August this year, the company had more than 200 million users. Vine hopes to gain more users and increase interaction with existing ones through the introduction of the latest Audio Remix feature.
