The immensely popular MMORPG from Blizzard, World of Warcraft: Legion, will be the sixth expansion in the series.

Revealed in August, the expansion will see the return of the Burning Legion, as well as Illidan the Betrayer.

At BlizzCon 2015, the developer showcased the expansion's trailer which showed King Varian Wrynn aboard a ship which was being attacked by the Burning Legion. The trailer sets the premise for Legion, where the Horde and Alliance have apparently joined forces to annihilate the Burning Legion.

Several major upgrades are anticipated to come in Legion, which will include several quests, new zones and more. However, the element gamers will look forward to is the visual enhancements the game will benefit from.

Blizzard divulged that the draw distance in zones is set to increase with the arrival of Legion, which will enable players to see a greater distance than previously. Now, a Reddit user Kastel197 has taken location screenshots from the ongoing alpha version of World of Warcraft: Legion to give a glimpse into the improvements.

He has compared the live and legion alpha shots to show the enhanced draw distances.

"With all the hype surrounding the new zones, the increased draw distance in Legion has been overlooked. I put together a few comparison screenshots between live and legion alpha showing off the improved draw distances," says Kastel197.

World of Warcraft: Legion is set to release next summer. Check out the comparison screenshots below, which show off how amazing the improvements are set to be.
