OnePlus teamed up with ReGlobe to offer a new OnePlus Experience upgrading program, making it easier for customers in India to get a new OnePlus smartphone.

The program works by allowing users to turn in their older smartphones for a brand new OnePlus handset under the exchange and buyback rules. They can choose to exchange their old handset for either a OnePlus One, OnePlus 2 or OnePlus X handset.

"Starting November 30th, we are tying up with ReGlobe, an enterprise at the forefront of end-of-life product management for exchange and buyback programs of your older smartphones for a brand new OnePlus device," said OnePlus on a blog post.

The said offer is valid on any device that is listed on the ReGlobe site, which focuses on selling previously owned electronics. Trading in an eligible device allows users to receive an invite as well as a free insurance, as long as the buyback or exchange price of the old handset is valued at more than $75. The valuation will have to be obtained through a quote from ReGlobe.

The program offers two type of exchange schemes for the users.

1. Buy First, Sell Later Option

OnePlus said that customers who choose this option will have to get an invite code for the smartphone of their choice from ReGlobe's customer service. They will also get a pickup schedule of the smartphone at a certain date.

The sale of the older device will then be approved by the team from ReGlobe. The latter will receive a confirmation of an activation of the buyer's invite from OnePlus. When all the procedures are accomplished, the customer will then receive a page-link which will allow them to get their Free Insurance as part of the offer. This will include an Amazon Gift Coupon that matches the price quote of their older device in a span of three to five working days.

2. Sell First, Buy Next Option

In this option, the customer will receive an invite as soon as the sale transaction becomes complete. They will also get an Amazon Gift Coupon that matches the earned quote of the older handset.

OnePlus notes that the invite will have expiration dates and that customers should be able to make their purchase within the expiry date.

The buyback-exchange scheme is available in at least 16 cities in India. These include Delhi, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Kolkata, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Noida and Gurgaon.

For additional information, interested consumers can visit ReGlobe's landing page.

The buyback-exchange scheme will continue to be valid until Dec. 31, 2015.
