As if Fisker didn't turn enough heads with its bold Karma electric sports sedan just a few years ago.

The automaker is reportedly on the verge of returning with its second-ever model, as it prepares to unveil The Force 1 at the 2016 North American International Auto Show — also known as the Detroit Motor Show — held from January 11 through the 24th.

The just-under $300,000 sports coupe vows to be "the most-powerful naturally aspirated engine ever put in a road car," Fisker says, as reported by Auto Express. The release will reportedly only include 50 units on this limited basis.

The same website points out that in order to make good on that engine promise that The Force 1 super car will have to deliver more than the 789 horsepower that revs the V12 Ferrari LaFerrari, although that turbo-charged beast on wheels has an electric motor that could be brought up to an insane 950 horsepower output. Any way that car enthusiasts look at it, though, The Force 1 will have a hard task at hand.

A sketch from company owner, Henrik Fisker, of the reported super car has been making its rounds on the Internet and with Fisker having previously designed the BMW Z8 and Aston Martin DB9, the excitement for The Force 1 is brewing.

Many car outlets across the Internet believe that Fisker's sketch of The Force 1 closely resembles the Aston Martin with its long front and short back. Auto Express also reports that the body of The Force 1 will be all carbon fiber and propped on 21-inch wheels, while featuring ultra-thin ventilated laser blade tail lights.

If the Karma was any indication of what's to come, The Force 1 will take off, making its own impact in the auto industry.
