Microsoft wants to give everyone more reason to believe that it is truly the season to be jolly with its biggest Xbox sale ever running from Dec. 22 until Jan. 7, 2016, and you don't even have to line up to get the best deals!

The sale will have separate daily and weekly deals on Xbox One and Xbox 360 digital games with discounts of 40 to 60 percent, but if you are an Xbox Live Gold member, you get an additional 10 percent off on top off the existing discount. It's such an epic sale that Microsoft felt it was worth making a commercial for. Watch the video below.

It's not just Xbox One and Xbox 360 games that are up for grabs with a huge price cut, even films, television shows, and applications are part of the sale. To give you an idea of how awesome the 17-day sale is, Microsoft revealed a portion of its line-up such as Halo 5: Guardians, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Fallout 4, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, and Assassin's Creed Syndicate. What's more, if you join Xbox Live Rewards, you can earn credits as reward with your purchases.

Xbox One users rejoice, because the sale will also offer 10 backward compatibility games that you can take advantage of!

If you don't have an Xbox one yet, don't fret, because until Dec. 26, Xbox One console bundles are available at $50 off, starting at $299.
