What's left to say about The Walking Dead? Save for Game of Thrones, it's arguably the biggest show on television right now - and even with a similarly-themed spin-off running at nearly the same time, The Walking Dead hasn't lost any of its momentum.

Of course, the winter months are tough: the show is currently on hiatus, meaning that fans are basically stuck watching reruns or flipping through the comics for weeks on end. Thankfully, the dreaded winter hiatus is almost over: with the show set to return in February, it won't be much longer before fans can sink their teeth into The Walking Dead once more.

On top of that, AMC has finally released the first teaser for The Walking Dead's mid-season premiere - and, while it doesn't have all that much in the way of new information, it definitely hints at quite a bit. If you've been reading the comics alongside the show, you'll probably recognize more than a few iconic moments that could make their television debut during the second half of season six...

If you've been worried that The Walking Dead can do nothing more to surprise you, just wait - if what the trailer is hinting at actually happens as it does in the comics, expect to be floored when it finally happens. We won't spoil it here, but suffice to say, certain characters could be undergoing some major changes by the end of the season.

Aside from said certain event, however, the trailer doesn't dive into too much detail - in fact, the teaser's about a generic as you can get when it comes to The Walking Dead. Rick growls, zombies growl, someone points a gun at the screen - after six years, it's all pretty standard fare.

Generic trailer or not, it's time to get excited for more zombies: The Walking Dead is set to return on Feb. 14, 2016.
