Here’s an interesting take on the still somewhat niche world of gadget bags. London-based luggage designer Knomo is showing off a few new entries in the space, but hands-down the most interesting is the Drop & Go, which features a pocket that holds built-in wireless charging so users can just, you know, drop and go.
The system is said to offer 95 to 98 percent charging efficiency vs. standard induction charging’s 60 to 70- percent efficiency, utilizing a heavy 5,000-mAh battery to keep things going.
The handbag features a pocket up top with a magnetic connection designed to pull an iPhone toward the in-back charger. The company’s exhibiting the new technology on a women’s handbag at the show, but it has promised to roll the feature out across an existing line of men’s and women’s bags in the spring.
