Robots have been somewhat of a focus at CES this year, and in particular, we've seen some that are aimed at being personal assistants, One, however, only serves one purpose — to glide around your home and project onto walls.

The robot, called Tipron, was made by a company called Cerevo, and it is managed through a smartphone app that basically acts as a remote control for both the robot itself and the projector head. While it's moving, the robot folds up and wheels around. With the tap of a button, however, it is able to extend into projection mode, which is where users can control the angle of the image.

The projector is able to show individual videos, however, according to reports, it's actually made for YouTube consumption, lists on Twitter and other things that can be automated. Once the robot has been moved to a specific place, users can also set it to remember that location.

So, what's the use of this? Well, according to the creators of Tipron, the idea is that, for example, you could maneuver the robot to your bed and project news or traffic data on your ceiling when you wake up. Then, as the day goes on, it could be used as a substitute for a TV without actually needing to make room for the TV itself.

If you're reading this and think you can find a million places in your home you might want to watch YouTube videos, then you're in luck — Tipron will be released this spring and will be available in the U.S., Europe and Japan. It will cost between $1,000 and $2,000.
