Axis, a drone designer and manufacturer, has come out with what it claims to be the world's smallest first-person view (FPV) video drone — and it can fit in the palm of your hand.

Measuring less than five centimeters tall (the actual dimensions are 4.3 cm by 4.3 cm by 2.5 cm), the Vidius FPV quadcopter can fly up to 100 feet in the air and perform some pretty death-defying feats like 360-degree flips, using a six-axis gyro stabilization to keep it steady in the air.

Pilots have the option of using either a traditional 2.4 GHz remote controller or a free downloadable app, the latter of which is hypothetically used for video-recording purposes. According to the Axis site, the camera, which records with a 420 pixel resolution while in flight, can livestream through the app via Wi-Fi, which can then be transferred from the app for storage.

While the drone only has a five- to seven-minute flight time, it only charges in 20 minutes via USB, and due to its size, the Vidius FPV requires no FAA registration under the department's current criteria.
