Adam Driver is all set to host SNL this Saturday, and if the show is anything like these promos, viewers should expect a good time.

Driver may be the new face of the dark side as the evil Kylo Ren in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but he's been a big star for years now. He has appeared in Girls, What If, Inside Llewyn Davis and much, much more.

But we all know Star Wars is likely to be featured front and center on Saturday night's show. How could it not be? Kylo Ren is prone to temper tantrums and has some serious daddy issues, all of which is comedy gold just waiting to be mined by the SNL team.

In the promo video below, fans can get a small taste of what to expect. One promo has Driver bringing out his lightsaber underneath a dinner table after his dinner date Kate McKinnon (who will star in the new Ghostbusters film later this year) eats his last fry. "It's fine," Driver says as she munches away on his french fry, only for him to activate his now iconic lightsaber. That leads McKinnon to activate a lightsaber of her own and telling Driver to chill.

There's also a moment when Driver goes all dark side, saying that the reason the promos are being shot in a diner is because the SNL staff doesn't trust Driver due to his status as "the new guy."

"They brought us here, to this god-orsaken diner, to laugh and joke and dance like everything's OK, but everything's not OK," Driver laments. Then he starts yelling "weeeee" in an attempt to have fun.

It's all a little strange in the way only SNL can be, so the Jan. 16 episode should be full of surprises. And Kylo Ren jokes.
