Rock fans worldwide mourned the death of Motörhead frontman Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister, and a few fans turned their grief into something more constructive: a GTA V mod.

Grand Theft Auto titles have been greatly successful worldwide, allowing players to roam the streets and raise hell to complete various missions. GTA V is no different, but it now has a fiery new character thanks to some cool modders.

Lemmy was a true legend for rockers and his music played an essential role in the foundation of the heavy metal genre. Just four days after his 70th birthday, Lemmy lost his battle with cancer on Dec. 28, 2015.

Thousands of grieving fans took to YouTube to virtually attend the emotional memorial service and celebration of Lemmy Kilmister. There's even a petition going around to put Lemmy in the Periodic table like the heavy metal "Lemmium" star that he was, and it has thousands of signatures.

Three fans, however, wanted to do something different to honor the legendary rock star.

The talented gits over at GTA Modding meddled a bit with the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V and included the almighty Lemmy in the game, allowing players to add an extra kick to their game.

GTA V players can now roam the streets of Los Santos as the fearless Motörhead frontman for a unique take on the game thanks to this new Lemmy Kilmister tribute GTA V mod. Read on to learn more about what this new mod has to offer.

GTA V Lemmy Mod Features

This mod brings a Lemmy Kilmister skin with custom face, hair, skin, beard, glasses, hat, tattoos, and clothes, including the obligatory Motörhead t-shirt. Players can spawn a wicked Lemmy motorbike that screams heavy metal, sporting an "Eat the Rich" logo. Other options for players are to spawn hookers that follow Lemmy around, or have their mod character drink, smoke, or play guitar / drums.

GTA V Lemmy Mod Commands

The commands for the aforementioned options are fairly simple. The "Shift+L" combo will allow players to become Lemmy Kilmister in the game. "Shift+B" will spawn the awesome Hexer motorbike, "Shift+H" will spawn hookers, and "Shift+J" (after "Shift+L") is for the Motörhead t-shirt. "Shift+O," "Shift+K" and "Shift+I" will make virtual Lemmy smoke, drink and play guitar or drums, respectively. To stop the smoking, drinking or jamming, players have the "Shift+Q" combo.

This mod is a tribute to Lemmy and is available for download if you want to try it out. To get a better idea of the concept, check out the video below.
