One of the most watched things on Twitch in recent times is "Twitch Plays Pokemon." Several Twitch users from around the world took part in the experiment, and it became an Internet sensation. With that over, something else has taken center stage, and it is called "Fish Plays Pokemon."

Fish Plays Pokemon is quite an interesting set up, more so than Twitch Plays Pokemon in our eyes. To make this a possibility, Twitch users Catherine Moresco and Patrick Facheris managed to hack the bowl of their fish, Grayson with a camera.

In addition, Moresco and Facheris made Grayson's position in the tank resembling that of the buttons on a Game Boy. As it stands right now, Grayson controls the character Red by swimming in the right direction. However, since this creature is a fish, one should not expect much of anything exciting from his journey.

Still, it doesn't mean that there haven't been victories along the way. So far, Grayson has played over 200 hours of Pokemon, and even managed to name his first Pokemon, a Charmander, and defeat his first opponent. That's a huge feat, because not many have defeated their first opponent on their first try.

For those who have failed, let it sink in right now that a fish has superior gaming skill compared to people. Life has a funny way of putting us down when the time presents itself.

Despite all the great accomplishments, little Grayson is still struggling to come out of Pallet Town. To this very day the fish is stuck in town, and we have no idea if it will ever find a way to escape and venture off into the wilds. It may very well happen, but we shouldn't hold our breath since everything relies on merely random actions by our beloved Grayson.

Looking at a fish playing Pokemon is interesting, yet boring. We hope someone comes up with something that is actually fun for the viewers. We're also surprised how popular this project is up to this very day.

Let's hope that pet gaming doesn't actually become a thing in the future, because we already have too many strange things that became popular and followed by folks from all walks of life, for example, Furries.
