Last month, DC Entertainment listed figures for a new collection based on the Suicide Squad film. However, today, that film's director, David Ayer, shared the first of those figures, Harley Quinn, with the world.

Ayer tweeted a figure of Harley Quinn, as depicted in the movie, complete in her blue and red costume, her "Daddy's Little Monster" T-shirt, her Puddin' neck choker and signature baseball bat.

There's no scale given for the figure, but the photo is a close-up shot that features a few other figures above it, including what is probably the bare foot of the Joker and another character's boot.

Soon after, USA Today revealed the rest of the figures in the Suicide Squad collection, featuring the rest of the main characters of the movie: Joker, Deadshot, Killer Croc, Katana and Captain Boomerang.

That website revealed that the size of the figures are 12 inches tall and that they will cost $150 each.

Although the movie doesn't hit theaters until August, DC recently ramped up promotion for the film and even released a new trailer this week set to Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody."

DC also released a new poster featuring all the supervillains together.

In Suicide Squad, high-ranking government official Amanda Waller assembles a team of villains to take on a mysterious threat that's so bad that she needs to call on the worst of the worst to save the world. This team is also deemed expendable, should things go south, hence the name of the group: the Suicide Squad.

However, the mysterious threat that the team must face is not yet known, although some believe that it's the Joker or Enchantress, or both. It's likely, though, that it's something even worse than those two, something requiring a team of supervillains.

DC also plans on releasing a special Harley Quinn and the Suicide Squad comic book for April Fool's Day this year. It's becoming obvious, especially with the marketing, that the movie will count on her popularity with comic book fans to get people in the theaters when it releases.

Suicide Squad arrives Aug. 5 in theaters.
