From bizarre to hilarious to downright inexplicable.

You never know what to expect from Vine's six-second-long looping video clips.

Well, with this Sunday marking the completion of the video-sharing network's third year, Vine has launched #VineYear3, a dedicated website looking back at the top clips over the past 365 days.

Some of the Vines included sparked trends in 2015, such as "Why You Always Lying?" — a hilarious parody to a 1997 smash single, "Too Close," by the former R&B group Next. The clip took on a viral life of its own, with people imitating the parody ... seemingly to this day.

Others, like the clip of a man grooming his beard to the sound of a hit Jay Z and Kanye West song, were just strange. And yet others, like Zach LaVine's 2015 Slam Dunk Contest performance ... awesome.

That being said, the most-looped Vine of the video-sharing service's third year was that of an explosion during a friendly soccer match in France, as part of the Paris terrorist attacks. The audible boom of a terrorist detonating his suicide vest could be heard in the clip, stopping the action on the field.

That Vine has been looped over 330 million times, showing that the service was also used to capture real-time news last year and not just laughs.

But as part of the celebration of completing its third year, Vine used Friday to also introduce its first version of Trends on Vines, where the fourth year is bound to spawn clips that take on a life of their own as well.
