The annoying thing about trying to find a specific number or address within your email inbox is having to sift through whatever individual emails your search tool pulls up ... sometimes to no avail.

Google is trying to change that. On Tuesday, Gmail's Inbox updated to offer two improvements — answers at a glance and the streamlining of search results — to help you find what you're looking for faster. After all, time is money, right?

Answers at a glance aims to keep users from going through several emails, looking for something specific. So, whether you're searching for a flight or hotel confirmation number, link to pay a bill or friend's address, the results will appear as answers at a glance, so you don't have to delve deeper into your mass of emails, looking for one piece of buried information.

Taking that even further, underneath the quick answers, Gmail users will see a "Top Results" section within their inbox, arranging emails by relevance.

Again, that's meant to prohibit users from having to go through all their emails looking for information. Now, the most important messages are learned and hit you at the top of your inbox.

Overall, these two improvements are made to save time and result in a quicker, more pleasant searching-and-finding email experience.

Perhaps Google says it best: "Every second counts, so start saving time with Inbox, and spend it on what matters most."
