The Division is the newest video game from Ubisoft. The first-person shooter RPG will be available in beta form come Jan. 28 for two days, and folks have been clamoring for ways to get in ever since the announcement.

Activision is not making it easy for gamers to take part in the beta since to do so, folks must first preorder the game. However, PlayStation 4 gamers have found a way to bypass the system in order to get themselves beta codes without having to preorder.

The method of gaining access to the beta for The Division involves preordering the game from the PlayStation Store. Once the preorder has been completed, gamers are then required to search for The Division beta through the PlayStation Store and then download the client to their console.

After downloading the client, gamers can visit the settings area of the PlayStation 4 to cancel the preorder before the system takes payment for the transaction.

What about Xbox One owners?

Don't worry, we have you covered on this one, and guess what? Getting the beta for the Xbox One is similar to how it is done for the PlayStation 4.

This method is something we came across ourselves after reading the PlayStation 4's method, so we hope it works for everyone, and it should.

Take a stroll to Amazon.com and search for The Division. Click the preorder button and continue through the full process. Once the preorder has been completed, Amazon will send a promotional code to your email address. After that, just simply cancel the order and work with the following instructions.

Visit www.thedivisiongame.com/beta, select the Xbox platform and then click next. Sign in or create a Uplay account, then link the account with your Xbox Live account. The next step is to enter the access code given by Amazon, then just sit back and wait for Ubisoft to send the beta code.

Bear in mind that this process works for the PlayStation 4 as well, so if you're unable to gain entry via the PlayStation Store, then do not hesitate to give this process a spin.
