It's almost the end of the month, and that means a new lineup of free games for PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold members. Rather than an official announcement this time around, it looks like February's free PlayStation 4 games have leaked ahead of time.

According to gamers on Reddit, who spotted the games on the PS Plus section of the PlayStation Store ahead of schedule, Helldivers and Nom Nom Galaxy will be going free starting Feb. 2.

Sony has now confirmed that the game's will officially be going free next month, while also providing the list of PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita games that will be availble. PS3 gamers can snag Grid: Autosport and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, with Vita players scoring Lemmings Touch and Nova-111 free of charge. Helldivers is also available for the Vita and PlayStation 3.

Helldivers is a Sony console exclusive twin-stick shooter with an emphasis on co-operative play that released to critical acclaim last year, making it a great choice. Think Starship Troopers (the movie, not the book) and you have a good idea of what's in store for you and your friends. If you would rather explore remote planets in search of tasty ingredients for your galactic soup empire, Nom Nom Galaxy has you covered. The game is a 2D action game (think Terraria) with an emphasis on collecting resources.

If you haven't already, be sure to grab January's free PS Plus games while you still can. You have the adventure classic Grim Fandango: Remastered and the online vehicle title Hardware: Rivals to choose from.
