The next update for Need for Speed, dubbed Showcase, will bring enhanced multiplayer options, customization of parts, a photo mode and more.

The photo mode will be called Snapshot Pro, which gamers will be able to access via their device's screen menu. Users will be able to position the camera anywhere and change settings such as saturation, contrast, brightness and more to take brilliant photos of their cars.

"Building an awesome ride is only part of the fun, the other is showcasing it for the world to see. That's why we're introducing Snapshot Pro, a mode which will allow you to create some stunning photos of your favorite car," writes Ben Walke, the game's content and community manager.

Need for Speed gamers often spend a lot of time and effort upgrading the performance as well as the external appearance of their cars. The Wrap Sharing feature, which will arrive with the Showcase update, will enable gamers to show off their creativity and talent to other players.

The game developer says that Wrap Sharing is one of the most wished-for features for Need for Speed. The new feature will be available in the Paint and Wrap section, which will let gamers see and download wraps that have been shared by others. Users will have to mark their creation as shareable so others can also view them.

Several community-made apps can also be download and applied by gamers. The community wraps will be available in the community wrap part of Paint and Wrap section. Once downloaded, users will also be allowed to make some tweaks and then apply the wraps.

Gamers who want to test their driving skills with others will be able to do so with the Competitive option. The Competitive session will be full of human players who want to compete with other gamers.

The Showcase update will also bring more than 100 new customization items to 11 cars.

The upcoming update for Need for Speed will also allow users to customize the license plate of their cars for a more personalized ride. Players will have a wide selection of backgrounds to choose from.

Gas stations in previous Need for Speed games gave players the ability to have their cars repeaired. The Showcase update will bring back the feature and all gas stations in Ventura Bay will repair gamers' cars for free.

Check out the full Showcase update notes on the official Need for Speed website.

Need for Speed developer Ghost Game has announced that the Showcase update will arrive on Feb. 3.
