Although Kara recently survived her encounters with Bizarro Girl on CBS' Supergirl, things got even weirder for the superhero at the end of Monday night's episode.

Please note that the following contains spoilers for the most recent episode of Supergirl.

On Monday night's Supergirl, after defeating Bizarro Girl, Kara returned home in an attempt to relax, but then noticed a weird alien plant thing sitting on her coffee table. However, before she had a chance to investigate the plant, tentacles dropped down from her ceiling and attacked her.

On the Feb. 8 episode of Supergirl, viewers will learn that this plant is a parasitic alien creature that has knocked Kara unconscious and will slowly kill her. As she dreams, Kara finds herself in a world where Krypton was never destroyed and her family remains alive. Can Kara escape this dream world that cages her? Will she want to leave?

A new trailer shows Kara as she struggles with having the very thing she wants in her dreams versus finding out the truth and fighting for her real life.

Here is the official description for the episode, titled "For the Girl Who Has Everything":

"Kara's friends must find a way to save her life when a parasitic alien attaches itself to her and traps her in a dream world where her family is alive and her home planet was never destroyed. Also, Alex, Hank and the DEO must fend off a Kryptonian attack while Kara is out of commission."

The episode is a loose retelling of the Superman comic book story "For the Man Who Has Everything," by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons from Superman Annual #11. In that story, Batman, Robin and Wonder Woman find Superman catatonic with a large alien plant stuck to his chest. The plant gives Superman dreams that have him living a normal life on Krypton with a wife and two children. That story also saw an adaptation as part of the Justice League Unlimited series on Cartoon Network. Now, it serves as a basis for the next episode of Supergirl.

Supergirl airs on CBS on Mondays at 8 p.m. EST.
