Love your Nook eReader or tablet, but it has gotten just a bit outdated?

Well, Barnes & Noble has announced a special month-long trade-in/trade-up promotion, offering existing Nook customers a $50 credit toward the purchase of a new Nook device from Wednesday, Feb. 3 through March 5.

What sweetens the deal on the promotion is the entire family of Nook devices will be included in the offer after trading in your existing model, spelling the ability for customers to to get a 9.6-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab E Nook for its lowest-ever price of $179.99, an eight-inch Galaxy Tab S2 Nook for $299.99 or a seven-inch Galaxy Tab 4 Nook for $89.99.

The Nook devices eligible for the trade-in promotion include: the Nook 1st edition, Nook Color, Nook Tablet, Nook Simple Touch, Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight, Nook HD, Nook HD+ and Nook GlowLight.

The only devices from the line that won't be eligible for the promotion are the Nook GlowLight Plus and any Nook by Samsung device.

The Nook Store currently features upwards of four million digital books, adding incentive for customers to trade in and upgrade to a better device.

The question is will you trade in to upgrade or simply go with another brand of eReader or tablet?
