A Weibo leak shows that Huawei might roll out the long expected dual booting Matebook hybrid at the upcoming Mobile World Congress.

The Matebook should purportedly share the best of both worlds, being a tablet and a laptop at the same time. Some rumors surfaced, indicating that the device will feature Windows and Android in a dual-boot scheme. However, there is quite a high chance that the device operates (at least) on Windows 10.

With the slowing down of the mobile market, Huawei might want to make up for losses by investing in more business-oriented gadgets, such as the Matebook.

Huawei CEO Yu Chengdong now adds more fuel to the fire.

On his Weibo page, he posted a public invitation to the company's event at MWC 2016. He even added a mysterious "The new style of business" caption, hinting that Huawei aims to bring forth an enterprise-oriented lineup of gadgets.

Adding to the excitement, the message is written with what seems to be a stylus. Insiders from the company claim that Huawei to pit its Matebook against the Microsoft Surface and the Apple iPad Pro.

Technology enthusiasts should find the Matebook rumors intriguing and somewhat predictable. Huawei's main field of expertise is manufacturing and distributing smartphones, tablets and networking gear. This means that the exploration into tablet territory is a novel approach for the OEM. However, considering the fact that the mobile market is getting crowded with competitors, a wider array of products can do nothing but help.

Huawei's Matebook is probably following the example of Microsoft's Surface line of 2-in-1 tablets. Should the manufacturer offer bang for the buck, this device can prove to be one of the company's best ideas to date.

Alongside the Matebook, Huawei fans anxiously await for the company to showcase other devices at MWC 2016, such as the Huawei P9.

Two main reasons make the P9 one most sought after device: the design and the specs. The handset will feature a full metallic unibody and a fingerprint sensor. Under its hood sits the Kirin 950 processor which is famed to be one of the best mobile CPUs to date, and is even backed by a whopping 6 GB of RAM.

A 5.2-inch display featuring 2,560 x 1,440p resolutions and a Mali-T880 MP4 GPU will make sure that apps run smoothly on the anticipated Huawei phone.

As soon as we know the full list of Huawei's releases at the MWC 2016, we will keep you posted.
