With only a few days to go before Samsung officially announces the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, a new video and images of the S7 has leaked. The video shows the smartphone powered on and working, and images confirm it will include a microSD expansion slot.

In the days leading up to Samsung's Feb. 21 launch event to introduce the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, the company has witnessed daily leaks regarding both smartphones, and even some huge news for its next-gen Galaxy Note 6 phablet. We most recently got a look at how the Galaxy S7 compares in size with popular smartphones like Apple's iPhone 6s, LG's G4 and Samsung's Galaxy S6.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has also seen its share of leaks in recent days; most notably, an image of the handset was posted online, which also included an AnTuTu benchmark score for the device.

Now, with just a few days ahead of Samsung's Feb. 21 event, a video and images of an operational Samsung Galaxy S7 has leaked online. The images confirm that Samsung will bring back the microSD expansion slot it dropped when it launched the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge last year. The Galaxy S7 will include a microSD and SIM slot tray combo, while another photo shows the rear case of the Galaxy S7 and its 12 megapixel Britecell rear camera.

The rear case of the Galaxy S7 appears to be a fingerprint magnet, but users shouldn't be too concerned as it looks like the smartphone has a plastic film on its back that is likely part of its retail packaging.

A 15-second video of the Samsung Galaxy S7, which can be seen below, shows off an updated version of TouchWiz, Samsung's skin that runs on top of Android, in addition to its Flipboard app integration.

We'll keep you updated on any new Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge details as they become available.
