Sprint seems enthusiastic in luring more Verizon subscribers into its network by offering them two times more data at the same price they are presently paying Big Red.

The carrier, which is currently deemed as the fourth largest in the United States, has introduced its Sprint Better Choice Plans with an aim to "offer families more data than Verizon at a better value." This is going to be available across the country beginning Friday.

The carrier's Better Choice Plans is similar to The Verizon Plan. Both plans start from Small through XXL.

With Sprint's new plans, subscribers are given unlimited talk and text. Customers choosing the Small plan will be given 3 GB of data for $30 every month. If they pick Medium, Sprint will give them 6 GB to share for $45 per month. Those who will go for the Large plan will be given 12 GB of data to share at $60 per month. Should they prefer the XL plan, they will have to pay $80 for 24 GB of data. If they need more, there's the the XXL plan's 40 GB data allocation for $100 a month.

Should subscribers go over the data cap, they won't be charged but Sprint will reduce their connection speed from the high-speed 4G LTE service to 2G. Subscribers who want a faster connection can pay $15 for every GB of data used. Verizon also charges an overage fee of $15 per GB of data.

Sprint is making the deal sweeter by covering the switching fees up to $650 per line for those who want to make the jump from Verizon to its network.

That's not all Sprint is offering. It also has its unlimited LTE plan for families. With this plan, Spring is giving unlimited talk, text plus data for $75 for a single line. Two lines are priced at $120, three lines at $150 and the fourth line is absolutely free. Moreover, families who are going to avail five to 10 lines will only pay $30 each.

Apart from receiving 3 GB of data from mobile hotspots every month, subscribers of this plan are also given unlimited 2G roaming in selected countries.

"With Sprint Better Choice Plans, we've truly simplified our wireless data share plans," says Sprint's chief executive Marcelo Claure. "Customers can choose the amount of data they want from extra, extra large and then they can add the number of desired additional lines."

Just a few weeks ago, Tech Times reported about Sprint's claim that its LTE Plus platform is faster than what AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon are currently offering.

"Sprint offers the best value and overall experience compared to the competition," Claure says.
