All five episodes of Tales from the Borderlands will be put together on a disc and released in April this year.

Tales from the Borderlands is an episodic point-and-click graphic adventure video game based on the Borderlands series. The first episode of the game was released in November 2014 followed by the release of other four episodes in March, June, August and October 2015.

The game was released for Microsoft Xbox One, Xbox 360, Android, iOS, OS X, Microsoft Windows, Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) and PlayStation 4 (PS4). Telltale Games has developed the game in partnership with Gearbox Software, the developer of the Borderlands series.

On Thursday, the game's publishers announced that all five episodes will be put in a physical disc and will be available for various platforms.

"For those of you who've yet to play the critically acclaimed Tales from the Borderlands - you're in luck! Gearbox Software, Telltale Games, 2K and The Hyperion Corporation are bringing the whole game - all five episodes - to a shiny disc format you can buy in stores!" says 2K.

The Tales from the Borderlands disc will hit the shelves on April 22 in Europe and on April 26 in North America. A VG 247 report suggests that the retail version of the game will be launched in New Zealand and Australia on April 21.

Tales from the Borderlands has attracted many gamers and many of them have been waiting for it to be put in a physical disc form.

"I thought this day would never come :))) I've played it on Xbox 360 and I love it so much I want a hard copy for my PS4," says a gamer.

The physical form of the game will not only allow gamers to play Tales from the Borderlands on various platforms but it also makes a great collectible item.

"I like having physical copy[ies] of my favorite games they make great collector items," says another game enthusiast.

Customers who want to purchase a disc of Tales from the Borderlands will have to spend $29.99 for all console versions and $19.99 for the PC version.

The first episode of Tales from the Borderlands is available as a free download from the PlayStation Store. Gamers can also download other episodes for $4.99 per episode.
