Go on any automaker's website, and you'll likely be given the option to build and customize any model across the brand's lineup from one convenient URL.

Acura is so excited about the launch of its 2017 NSX that, on Thursday, it launched an online configurator website solely dedicated to the new edition of the supercar.

Starting today, logging on to NSX.Acura.com will allow prospective owners and car enthusiasts alike to virtually customize the NSX. The launch of the website coincides with the start of customers being able to officially order the vehicle at authorized retailers.

The way Acura has it set, users would configure and fully customize their NSX on the specially-dedicated site before requesting a one-on-one consultation at a physical retailer. To heighten the overall experience, Acura is even enabling users to share their custom NSX via social media.

Fans who share their supercar on Twitter between Thursday and Feb. 29, using the hashtag #DriveAcuraNSXContest, will even be automatically entered to win a spot in the Acura VIP Driving Experience, which will include getting behind the wheel of the 2017 NSX.

"The launch of the next-generation NSX configurator not only turns up the Acura NSX excitement another notch, but takes us one step closer to delivering the NSX to our first customers," Jon Ikeda, vice president and general manager of Acura, said in a company press release statement to make the announcement. "Customers and fans alike have been waiting for this moment, and now they are able to build the incredible new Acura NSX of their dreams."

This dedicated NSX site follows the 2017 supercar having its own Super Bowl 50 commercial during the big game earlier this month.

Acura's supercar touts what the company calls a "first-of-its-kind Sport Hybrid Super Handling All-Wheel Drive" system.

The supercar screams with 573 horsepower and a top speed of 191 miles per hour, thanks in part to its hand-assembled engine.

Just over a month away from the brand turning 30 on March 27 and having already revealed its Precision concept sedan and new 2017 MDX, saying that Acura is preparing for a monstrous year would almost be an understatement at this point.
