From Earth to the moon, from Mars to Venus, there are so many fantastic locales to explore and to battle in.

Developer Bungie and publisher Activision have released the last gameplay trailer for the game Destiny before it is released in a few weeks.

The trailer shows the variety of places you will travel to in the science-fiction game, as well as the enemies you will fight. The video is thick with bullets, energy blasts and superpowers.

A woman's voice lays out the epic, "I know what you're about to do. It's brave. There are enemies out here you will not believe. But they've never seen anything like you."

Destiny is the first game from Bungie since the studio left both Microsoft and the Halo franchise behind. While it shares some DNA with that science-fiction shooter, the online RPG aspects of Destiny separate it from that series.

Since the game is being rolled out by Activision, the hugely-successful publisher of the best-selling Call of Duty series, expect the marketing blitz for the game to ramp up over the next few weeks. It may even outsell CoD to be the year's biggest game.

Destiny is launching on September 9, for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
