Season six of Game of Thrones is just around the corner, and that means we are fast approaching spoiler town. From HBO teases, to leaks, to even tidbits from the actors themselves, those wanting to go into season six completely spoiler-free will soon have their work cut out for them.

Now, we can add Sansa Stark actress Sophie Turner to the mix. Turner unintentionally spilled one major detail about her character's season six journey, so if you don't want to be spoiled, it's best to stop reading now.

Spoilers below for Game of Thrones season six!

When asked about Game of Thrones season six while on the red carpet last night (via EW), Turner strongly implied that her character will once again evade a gruesome end that has befallen so many of the show's other characters.

She says she went through the season six script and found numerous character deaths but was relieved to find that Sansa wasn't among them. On air, she described flipping through the pages as "death, death, death, okay I'm good for this season." Considering the painful and heart-wrenching deaths that Turner's onscreen brothers have suffered, it's probably more than a little comforting to know that Sansa will survive to fight (well, not fight, maybe manipulate) another day.

Turner has previously stated that season six will be a major one for Sansa, in that it will be the season in which the character finally comes into her own and, as Turner describes it, "commands the respect that she deserves."

When we last saw Sansa in Game of Thrones, she was fleeing from Winterfell (and the clutches of Ramsay Bolton) alongside Theon Greyjoy just as Stannis Baratheon attacked. Her future is unclear, as since the next installment in George R.R. Martin's book series is not yet completed (much to the sadness of fans), the show will have the first chance to show what's next for Sansa.

In other Game of Thrones news, Martin says a major twist in the upcoming book The Winds of Winter will involve a character that is alive in the book series but dead on the show. You can read more about that here.
