Sony has started an Assassin's Creed franchise sale that will run until March 15 on the PlayStation Store.
Customers can get discounts of as high as 75 percent on a number of video game titles across PlayStation 4 (PS4), PlayStation 3 (PS3) and PlayStation Vita.
The original price of Assassin's Creed and Assassin's Creed: Liberation HD for PS3 on the PlayStation Store is $19.99 but customers can get them for $4.99, which is a discount of 75 percent. Assassin's Creed: Revelations Ultimate Edition is priced at $29.99 but after a 75 percent discount customers can grab a copy for $7.49.
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Ultimate Edition can be purchased for $6.99, the original price being $27.99.
Assassin's Creed: Syndicate Gold Edition for PS4, which costs $89.99, is up for grabs for only $35.99. Assassin's Creed III Ultimate Edition for Sony's latest gaming console is also discounted from $49.99 to $19.99, a discount of 60 percent.
PS4 owners who want to play Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Gold Edition can purchase the title for $16.49 after a 67 percent discount. The PS3 version of the game is available for $15.99. Assassin's Creed: Chronicles Trilogy, which the PlayStation Store sells for $24.99, can be purchased for $17.99 after a 28 percent discount.
There are many other games in the Assassin's Creed franchise that have been discounted at the PlayStation Store. However, apart from Assassin's Creed games on various PlayStation platforms, the PlayStation Store is also offering discount on other games. Turn-based tactical stealth game Invisible, Inc. (console edition) developed by Klei Entertainment is available for $17.99 after a discount of $2. The game will be released in April 2016.
Other games like Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax, a 2D arcade fighting game developed by French Bread and Ecole Software and published by Sega, has also been discounted on the PlayStation Store. The PS3 version of the game that has an actual price of $39.99 has been discounted by 29 percent and customers can now buy it for $28.39. The PS Vita version of the game has seen a bigger price reduction of 34 percent. The PlayStation Store sells it for $29.99 but as part of the latest promotion, customers can get it for $19.79.
Sony says that the discounted prices for the Assassin's Creed games are "only available from 3/8/2016 09:30 p.m. to 3/16/2016 01:30 a.m.," which means customers who want to take advantage of the latest promotion will have to decide soon.
