Forget Batman and Superman. One of the most important appearances of a superhero in a recent film is by Wonder Woman, who makes her live-action movie debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Just in time for the release of the movie comes Hot Toys' new Wonder Woman collectible figure, depicting the character as portrayed by Gal Gadot in the film.

Lots of detail went into the figure, too, including a realistic sculpt of Gadot's face, as well as long hair made from fabric and Wonder Woman's Batman v Superman armor and weapons.

The 1/6th scale figure also comes with a Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stand.

The collectible figure has a body with over 17 points of articulation. It also has six interchangeable hands, depending on Wonder Woman's mood: fists, relaxed hands, right hand for holding a sword and a left hand for holding a shield. The highly-detailed head is hand-painted.

The figure also comes with both a sword and shield, as well as the golden lasso of truth. Costume details include Wonder Woman's signature red, blue and gold armor with a brown strap, gold and silver greaves and red and gold boots.

Wonder Woman's new Hot Toys figure joins her fellow superheroes, Batman and Superman. Unfortunately, though, this figure isn't available just yet: it's not expected to get a public release until the third or fourth quarter of the year.

Meanwhile, Wonder Woman fans can enjoy Gadot's performance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which opens on March 25. Early buzz indicates that the actress shines as the Amazonian princess, with some media outlets referring to her as the breakout star of the movie.

"It's so important that we have as many strong inspiring female characters on the big screen and in general," said Gadot to ABC News. "I'm feeling honored to be [someone] that's a part of that. And I'm super grateful that I got this amazing opportunity to tell the 'Wonder Woman' story. It's so big and so huge and inspiring and strong, that I'm just a vessel to tell the story to the outside world."
