The PlayStation Store has been full of surprises lately: yesterday, players logged onto Sony's U.K. store and stumbled across updated versions of two classic Rockstar games, Manhunt and Bully.

It didn't stop there, either: the PlayStation Vita port of 2K's XCOM: Enemy Unknown Plus also made its surprise debut on the PS Store. There was absolutely zero notice given, but gamers were excited anyways — except for U.S. players, who weren't able to access the region-locked updates.

Thankfully, that's no longer the case: the U.S. PlayStation Store updated earlier today, and all three games are now available for purchase on their respective systems. Sony hasn't given a reason why the games didn't all launch at the same time, but given that the delay was so short, most gamers are probably just happy to start playing.

Like all PS2 Classics, Manhunt and Bully aren't just simple ports: both games have been remastered for 1080p, which means they'll actually look good on a 60-inch TV screen. They'll also feature all of the standard PS4 features, including Remote Play, Trophy support and Shareplay — plus, at $15 each, it's not as if picking up the newer versions will break the bank.

Manhunt and Bully suddenly appearing on the PS Store may seem strange enough on its own, but XCOM: Enemy Unknown Plus is an enigma on its own: not only has 2K never mentioned an updated port of the 2012 real-time strategy game, but Enemy Unknown Plus doesn't appear to come with any additional content or extra features. One could assume that the game's been tweaked to work with the Vita, but in terms of actual new content, there doesn't seem to be any — which makes the "Plus" moniker something of a strange addition.

Even so, XCOM: Enemy Unknown is still a fantastic game, and its slower, more methodical pace makes it a perfect fit for playing on a handheld. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative to the XCOM 2, or just don't own a PC beefy enough to run it, Enemy Unknown Plus is a great deal at just $20.

Sony may not have made much of a fuss for its latest store update, but you won't find many people complaining. For anyone hoping to pick up any of the new releases, just head over to the PlayStation Store.
